Dr. Bill Edgar has been the pastor of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Broomall, Pennsylvania, since 1981. Before that, he was a missionary to Cyprus from 1970 to 1974. He served for twelve years on the Board of Trustees of RPTS, ten of them as President. For the last six years, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Geneva College, which he now chairs. He contributed a chapter to God and Politics (1989) and a chapter to Explicitly Christian Politics (1997).  

Dr. Edgar is a graduate of Swarthmore College (1968), attended RPTS (1968-1970), and received an M.S. in Education (1975) and a Ph.D. in history (1980) from the University of Pennsylvania.
